From our inception in 1975, Norchem, Inc. has been at the forefront of the development and manufacture of silica fume products.  Norchem answered the construction industry's need for a high-performance concrete admixture by becoming the first company in North America to develop and market silica fume.

A partially owned affiliate Globe Metallurgical, Inc., Norchem utilizes its partner's three strategically located plants, securing its position as the largest producer of silica fume in North America.  Advanced research and development programs have spearheaded the widespread use of silica fume in numerous applications.  Outstanding technical expertise and superior customer support, backed by our commitment to explore applications in new markets, continue to build Norchem's reputation as the leader in silica fume innovation.
